First off I got a nice big box of chocolates from Thorntons from my mum, dad, and brother. They also got me a new Ipod which is fab. I don't see the point in getting an iphone which is pretty expensive when I already have a phone...

From my Aunty, Uncle and  cousin I got a student christian cook book which will be really useful in September. They also got me a gift cube in the Shea scent, and from my friend I got the newest Hobbit film on DVD as I never actually got to see it at the cinema.

Why, hello there...

I keep on asking my mum when are we putting our christmas decorations up? I've actually already put a few things up in my room but these are a few bits that might inspire your decor this year!

1. Matalan Knitted Cushion - £14 If you read my last post, you'll know it's all about keeping cosy and this is the perfect audition for christmas. It's not one of the tackier cushions that's out there so if you so wished, you could have it around all winter or even all year!

2. ASDA Hanging decorations - £2 These cute little decorations can be hung on wardrobe handles, on your bed frames, on the christmas tree, around your mirror, anywhere basically!

3. Ikea Red christmas lantern - £2.54 Perfect for indoors or outdoors on a winters evening!

4. Topshop Lipstick tree decoration - £8. There is so many beauty baubles on the market at the moment, but this is one of the cheaper ones. This could be put on your tree but could also be a little stocking filler!

5. Origins christmas bauble gift set - £12 Although this is advertised and made to look like a bauble, I suspect it will be to heavy to hang on the tree! So this would make a great present for someone, but could be simply placed under the tree until christmas as it still looks great as a decoration.

6. Next Lit campaign berry heart - £20  Although this is a little pricier, it does loos incredibly pretty! This could be your modern version of your holly wreath on your front door.

7. Soap and Glory Merry kiss much - £5 Another great beauty bauble, this one would be great for hanging on the tree as it's a lot smaller, but again would be a great stocking filler.

8. Matalan Noel letter blocks - £6 Very cute for your living room/dining room/bedroom, and they are a little bit more related to reason for christmas.

9. Next Felt christmas bunting - £10 I've actually got a christmas banner from poundland of all places! Mine is just the letter rather than bunting but this would be great to hang across mirrors, door frames, anywhere you wish!

10. B&Q White string lights - £7 Again I've actually got a couple of packs of star shaped lights from poundland which I have across my bed frame, but these ones can obvously go on your tree or maybe use them outside.

Why hello there...

Long time no see! I won't go into details of where I've been as I did a life post recently which will give you all the details (check it out here).

For my return to blogging post, I'm very excite to be doing a review of some jewellery which was sent to me by the lovely Holly from Lune and Luck! 

The items that were sent to me are the Gold Band midi rings, the Rose Stone ring, and Gold Bar ring. Unfortunately the gold bands and bar rings only come in one size, but this is only a starting out business so I haven't got a problem with that as they can be worn as midi, pinkie or normal rings depending on your size. Also the rose stone ring is adjustable which means it can fit just about any size which is great! 

They're so pretty and elegant with just the right amount of detail! I'm a tiny bit disappointed with the Gold bar ring as it's already going 'coppery' after a few wears and it's meant to be gold plated so I need to put some clear polish over it, but the other rings are totally fine. They're a really affordable price for the quality and design as rings like this could cost a lot more in places like Topshop, and primark rings don't tend to keep their colour for very long at all. 

They are beautifully packaged in this purple gift bag, and to ensure they arrive safely they were wrapped in individual plastic sealed bags. It also includes this little handwritten note which adds a nice personal touch to it. They would make a perfect gift or as an affordable treat for yourself!

I bought these few things from the pound shop. One of my favourite youtubers kateheartsit mentioned the honney range from herbal Essenes so I thought I would pick it up before I left. I also wants to try a cheaper dry shampoo so I found this one. It smells so good! Hopefully doing a review soon! And finally, how cute is this jar? I'm currently using it to keep my cotton pads in.

Mum bought me a few travel size essentials from ASDA, where they were a little bit cheaper than boots or superdrug. Pretty standard.

These rings were in the New Look sale for £1 each and it was also buy one get one free, so they were basically only 50p each! Unfortunately the ones on the left don't fit me so I'm selling them on my blog sale

These next few bits are from Superdrug. 2 nail polishes from MUA that I originally got as a gift but I think in going to keep them for a give away, same with the make up bag. I also got a flannel, essential, and also their own brand hairspray. I've tried this and I cannot stand the smell so it's a no from me. I picked up the 2true powder to give it a try so I'll let you know what I think of it! 

I bought my first ever item from topshop! I'm actually wearing right now! I found this jumper in the sale for only £18, which for a chunky jumper is pretty good, and for topshop that's awesome!

Why, hello there...

I've haven't done a wishlist in a while, and I've saved up a bit of money so hopefully I'll be getting my hands on a couple of these things!

1. Real Techniques Core Set. I've wanted this for a while now. I've got the stippling brush which I use for foundation, but I've seen so many rave reviews about the buffing brush and the other brushes look amazing!

2. Black Khol Eyeliner. The one pictured is Rimmel Scandal eyes, but any decent black eyeliner will do. I struggle finding one that doesn't smudge under my eyes making me look like a panda, so the hunt is on!

3. Topshop Shirt. Can we just appreciate how gorgeous this shirt is? I recently got a cropped shirt from primark and I've been looking for some more and this one is just amazing! it is £35 but I guess that's not too bad for topshop

4. New Look Boots. I've been in love with these since I saw them. I have some boots but they're getting worn. The problem with these is that because I have big feet already, they're quite chunky and would make my fee look even bigger :( but I would love some shoes in this style.

5. Rimmel Match Perfection foundation. For ages I've been using the Natural Collection shineaway foundation which is only £1.99, but I want to try something new. I've seen a lot of good reviews about it and they seem to have a fair few shades to choose from. Hopefully I can find one in the right shade!

6. New Look flower skirt. This Skirt has been in my wishlist folder for a while now so I don't think it;s available anymore, but I love the style. Black with flower detailing is so pretty! I'm currently looking for a plain black skirt for school, but I think I might get something similar to this as well.

So this is one of the new posts I've been most excited about to post this new year! This blog is primarily about saving money and finding products for less, and I thought that I should do a couple of posts especially about trying to save a few pennies. Whether you're a blogger or a beauty addict, I hope these tips will come in useful!

This first post is going to be about online savings and also ways to make a few pennies out of online shopping, so lets get started!

1. Quidco. I've done previous posts on quidco before but that was back when I had hardly any followers. Quidco is a great site where you can get cashback for shopping online from hundreds of popular online websites. Everything from ASOS to Netflix to Superdrug and everything in-between is on this site! I use it all the time to get cashback on all my online purchases, which was really helpful over the sales period! 

They have excellent custom care if you have any problems and always explain anything you don't understand. The only problem I have with Quidco is that you have to give your first £5 earning to the site every year to help with the running of the site. But it's not a lot for the savings you can make! I would highly recommend this for bloggers especially if you don't get to the shops very often or can't find something in store! Click on the image above to take you to their website! They also have banner which you can put on your blog to advertise it!

2. Top Cashback. This site is very similar to Quidco. I am a member of the site but only really use Quidco. Although it does seem to have a few better qualities such as you don't need to pay yearly and on the odd occasion on their app, you can get freebies! I believe a most recent one was a free hand cream from the Body Shop? I think I will definitely have to start trying this site out! Click on the image below to take you to the website!

3. UniDAYS. I've just signed up to this website and I'm loving it so far! It's basically like a NUS card, but for free! It gives you loads of discounts on all the high street stores, including Urban Outfitters, Topshop, Benefit and many more! It also has loads of in-store discounts as well, up to 20% off so you can save loads of money, especially if you buy in bulk! I would definitely recommend this site if you're a student on a budget! 4. Newsletters. I receive newsletters from a few companies such as Superdrug, Newlook and The Body Shop. They don't spam me, only about once a week or less I get an email from them letting me know about the latest offers or products that are on sale so you're always up-to-date. They also give special offers for the newsletter readers so occasionally I get special discount codes for a certain percent of my order, half price on selected item or free delivery. I make sure all my newsletter go into one file in my emails so they don't get mixed up with my other emails. I would definitely recommend signing up to some of your favourite brands, you never know what kind of deals you'll receive!


5. Voucher Codes. My parents use this and other variations of this site quite often for meals out or for in-store purchases. You can print off thousands of vouchers for a variety of different outlets and get loads of deals and money off. I would always check this website before going out to a meal to see if they have any offers!



6. Voucher Cloud. This company got in touch with me after this post originally went up and wandered whether they could be featured in this post. I had a look around their site and it definitely worth a mention! Unlike some voucher websites, they have a competitions page and LOADS of exclusive offer for their site only! I love the layout of the site as well - very slick and well laid out. I would definitely recommend giving this site a try! (I wasn't paid to say this, the company simply just asked if they could be included in this post)
