10. Bourjois Delice de Poudre Bronzing Powder, £7.99

If you're feeling your holiday tan fading, this bronzer is the perfect not-too-shimmery shade to add a bit of colour.

9. MUA Undress Me Too Palette, £4

A whopping £33 cheaper than the Urban Decay Naked 2 palette with almost identical taupe and gold shades!

8.  Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquer in Bloom, £3

If you're like me and get a super-shiny face in the summer months, liquid blushers are a huge no-no. However, with the temperature cooling I'm finding myself reaching for this natural peachy shade. The formula gives a really natural flush of colour.

7. e.l.f. Studio Matte Lip Colour in Praline, £3.95

I love matte lips, but some of them are way too drying for the autumn. This line, however, is really nice and creamy plus the brown shade is perfect for Autumn/Winter.

6. Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in On & On Bronze, £4.99

I looove these cream eyeshadows as a base or on their own for when I'm feeling lazy. I'm reaching for the bronze shade this season.

5. Makeup Revolution I Heart Makeup Palette in I Heart Chocolate, £7.99

I'm totally obsessed with this amazing palette (a dupe of the Too Faced Chocolate Bar) and the shades are just perfect for this season: Autumn/Winter doesn't have to mean dull colours! 

4. Revlon Colourburst Lip Butter in Red Velvet, £7.99

This is perfect for if you want to rock a darker lip this season but you're not sure if you can pull it off. You can apply one layer and it's relatively sheer or build it up to something more opaque. I also love how hydrating the formula is.

3. e.l.f. Studio Cream Blush in Vixen, £6.50

I love this shade for Autumn! It can be applied quite lightly or easily built up to be more intense - perfect if you want to try a dark blusher but you're not quite sure. 

2. Sleek Blush in Suede, £4.49

I love this as an everyday shade that goes with just about everything. It's sort of a muted peach and I've worn it so much already this A/W as it's really subtle for if you're doing deep lips.

1. Makeup Revolution Ultra Palette in Flawless, £8

I love love love this palette! There are 32 shades, all of which are perfect for this season. I travel a lot and this is so versatile I can easily just take this and I'm able to create looks for day and night.

So my last post was all about Poundworld own brands that resemble some big high street brands (check out that post here) and I'll be updating you with how well I've got on with those products soon.

First of all we have my Lipstick/lip balm box. I got this box a couple of years ago as part of a nail polish gift set from the Fearne collection. It is so sturdy and has such a pretty pattern on it! It's probably the size of a regular Muji drawer and as you can see it stores my lipsticks really well all in a line. If you want to see more of my lipsticks, check out my lipstick collection here!

Next up we have this tin, which is actually a tin that had chocolates from Aldi in! It's a nice size and I keep all my back-ups/extras in here. Again it's really sturdy and has a really nice design.

Finally we have these cute little Jam jars I personalised! As you can see in the first picture, the little ones hold my nail files and liners and the bigger one holds my brushes. If you wanted to re-create something like this, there is plenty of different sizes/shapes of jam jars or you can buy them from craft stores. I also did a post on these which you can check out here.

Why, hello there...

Before blogging I had 2 lipsticks from Collection 2000 and I never worn them because they were dry and not really my colours so I didn't dare brave to buy anymore. Now after blogging for 6 months I've ventured out and started to build up my collection, and thought I would share with you guys what I currently have!

As you can see, it's not a massive collection, but it's a start! Two of them I won in competitions (3rd and 4th along) but the others I bough, and love them so much! I can definitely see a lipstick obsession arising...

My most used one is the MUA Power Pout, partly because I've had it for the longest, but it's so easy to wear with everything. It's kind of a 'your lips but better shade' which is perfect for school or if your in a rush. My current favourite is the MUA Matte one in Wild Berry. It's such a beautiful plum colour and has a nice finish. I did a review of it here. The Body shop Lipstick applies so well and smooth, but has a sort of matte finish. I love wearing this when I'm wearing blue or fancy a change.

Why, hello there...

So this is the second instalment of my 'Save your pennies' series (check out the last post here), looking at different ways to save/earn some money including online, in-store and money off deals. This post is going to be looking at shops on the high street where you may not have thought of finding great bargains, so lets get started!

1. T.K.maxx. This shop has recently become a beauty blogger favourite. As well as selling clothes, it also sells top brand make up and beauty products for SO much less! I've got presents from here including 3 Deborah Lippmann nail polishes, normally about $18 each, for only £5! It has also been known to sell acrylic storage just like Muji from time to time, but you have to keep looking to see if they have any in stock or are selling them at the moment.

Top brands: Revlon, Nails Inc, OPI, Sally Hansen, Essie, Ciatte, Deborah Lippmann Eco tools.

2. Pound Shops. Definitely my favourite! I always go in to check if they've rotated their make-up section. They always have famous brands and products that are either discontinued or only available in america (including wet 'n' wild!). They also all the normal beauty stuff like shampoos and things, so there is loads to choose from. 

Top Brands: Calvin Klein, Collection, Revlon, Rimmel, Wet 'n' Wild, OPI

4. ASDA. This is a brilliant place to find top branded skin care items for less. I got my L'Oreal micellar water from there for only £2! It also has the famous NSPA range which is very similar to the natural collection at Boots, except it's always on offer so you hardly ever pay full price and it's relatively cheap anyway!

5. Charity Shops. These are great if you're students and can't always afford to go to the top high street clothes shops. They're also great for utensils and any other bits and pieces you need for the kitchen. I have found bits from topshop and primark, so it's good to have a rummage about.

Why, hello there...

I bought this Lip butter from Superdrug (check out my beauty haul here) as it's been on my wishlist for quite some time now! It's my first Lip butter so I thought I would give it a review!

Mine is in the shade 'Macaroon'. It's a pinky brown colour and also has a tiny bit of glitter/shimmer in it. I'm not a massive fan of the shimmer, but there isn't much of it so it's bearable and still wearable (yes, that rhymes). The formula is really nice and glides on really well and it's really soft, hence the 'butter' name. I'm not overly keen on the diamond, cushion effect on the packaging, but the fact it reflects the colour is really nice and it's really sleek.

It's not quite as dark as the picture suggests (can you tell I was cold when I took this picture). The colour doesn't really last very long on your lips but this doesn't bother me too much. It's very easy to apply and even when it wears off you don't have to worry about it looking flaky.

I got a superdrug voucher from my grandma which I'm incredibly great full for! The stippling brush and lip butter have been on my wish list for so long so I'm very happy with these and it's also my first real techniques brush!

I also got a body shop voucher from my parents which I was very excited about as its my favourite shop! They also had a bunch of great offers on. Selected body butters were on £5 so I couldn't leave that. Then on full price products it was buy one get one half price so the wipes were only £3. Then I have a body shop card which gives me 10% off so this lovely little lot was only £13.50!

The pound shop is the best place for basics.

This is just a mini wishlist with things that I didn't include in my last wishlist because they're the cheaper ones. If you want to check out my last wishlist, click here. 

I've seen quite a few bloggers talking about the NSPA products, which are exclusive to ASDA so they're also really cheap, so I would love to try some of their products out!

I don't use lipsticks, but I thought i need to start somewhere and the Revlon lip butters look perfect! Also they have some really nice autumn/berry shades so I'm looking forward to getting one.

The new Barry M matte nail paints have gone down a storm on blogs everywhere! I've been wanting a matte nail polish for ages and when I found out Barry M had bought out a range, I was so excited! I really like the look of the black and red one.

Why, Hello there...

I've been really excited about this post! I went into town the other day and went into all the £1 or 99p stores. If you dont have these where you're from, basically everything in the shop is a pound. I've been in them before and seen some of these products before, but I found some new one which I was really excited about. This is what I got:

This first one isn' actually a 'big brand'. It's from a brand called Pink Tease and it's a black nail art pen. It has the nib bit at the top and the brush is long and thin, what you would expect from a nail art pen. The only problem I had when I first tried it was it came out a bit watery but I'm sure that will get less as I use it more. Normally nail art pens can be a lot, such as the Models Own pens, but this is a fantastic alternative!

This is the one I was most excited about. It's a Revlon Just Bitten kissable Balm Stain! They're normally £7.99 but this was only a pound! It's not the best colour for me (you can see it in the swatches below) as it comes out as quite a light pink. It's in the shade 035 Charm which I can't seem to find so maybe it's a discontinued shade or something? But its really nice and I think they may have had other shades in the shop which I shall look out for next time!

These are the Rimmel london Quad and Glam'eyes eye shadow. I really like the top colours, very autumn/fall appropriate! they also and a variety of these ones. The bottom colour I'm really not too keen on. I went to another £1 shop and they had loads more choice of these single eye shadows but I had already bought this one. The top one is normally £6.99 and the bottom one is £4.49.

This is another one I'm excited about. It's a Revlon nail polish in the colour 011 'Sheer Rose'. Again I don't know whether this is still available but it's such a pretty colour! Originally the Revlon nail polishes are £6.49.

And another great find! An O.P.I shatter nail Lacquer in 'Shatter the Scales' - Emerald Green. Can't find it again but they also had some other colours. Normally £11 (I think).

First 4 - Quad eye shadow, Blue - Glam'eyes, Pink - Relvon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain.

Hopefully now you can go out and find some bargains for yourself!
