Why, hello there...

Apologies I haven't done a post in a while. 1 - I don't currently have an SD card for my camera, 2 - Work has been supper busy recently, 3 - I haven't really had the energy to sit down and write a post and I don't want to force myself to write anything. Anyhoo, on with the post...

It's been a while since I've done a wishlist. Most the time it's beauty but for once there's a few pieces of clothing that have caught my eye. I am going uni in September and I've got all my t shirts and leggings ready for acting classes but I don't have many 'going out' clothes so this is sort of what I'm looking for at the moment. It's also my birthday in just over a month so some of this will ben on my birthday wishlist so look out for that!

1. Cami tops.  Now it's coming up to summer, I'm in need of some proper summer clothing as the only short sleeve tops I have are t-shirts and no 'nice' tops. This monochrome flower print cami from Matalan is so pretty and deffo a dupe for the Misguided clothing with the exact same print. Double strap camis also seem to be the 'in thing' at the moment and this New Look cross over cami is great and really affordable.

2. A-Line Skirts.  I've been looking for an A-Line skirt for a while now. I particularly like brown/beige ones as they can go with quite a few things. Unfortunately because I've got such long legs it's hard to find a skirt that's not too short on me. I really like these two skirts from New Look but looking at them in the shops they're a bit too short for me. If anyone has any recommendations for these kind of skirts let me know!

3. Black jeans.  I go through these like nobodys business. Normally Matalan are my go-to jeans but they're out of my size, but these high waisted black jeans from New Look will do the job.

4. Cold shoulder tops.  I know this style has been around for a while but I've only been paying attention to it recently. They can be dressed up or down so they're perfect for any occassion. This one from New Look also has a high neck so this would be nice for an evening out, would go great with the high waited jeans.

5. Feather watch from ASOS.  I'm in desperate need of a new watch and found this one on ASOS. It's not very expensive which is great and looks super pretty. This will probably be on my birthday wishlist.

6. Fiorelli Handbag.  Another item I'm in need of as my current handbag from JustFab is falling apart. I found Fiorelli on ASOS and they're relatively affordable for a good quality hand bag. They've sold out of the one I was originally looking at, but this one on John Lewis (Sophia medium bag) is just as nice.

7. Benefit Roller Lash.  I had a sample of this recently and absolutely loved it! Quite expensive compared to my high-street choices but amazing nonetheless. This will also probably be on my birthday wishlist.

As you can see, there is no foundation in this post. I stopped wearing foundation as I found with my eczema Foundation looked cakey and clung to my dry patches. So now I use my Garnier roll in light on concealer (from 99p stores) under my eyes and the Natural collection concealer in Fair on the rest of my face, then finish off with the Makeup Gallery pressed powder in shade 2 (Poundland own brand). I'm trying to use this powder up so I can move on to my Rimmel stay matte powder but for only £1 it isn't half bad!

For mascara I go between the Maybelline Lash Sensational or the Cover Girl Volume Exact (from TKMaxx). If I have the time I go for the Cover Girl one as it has a dryer formula and takes a few coats to get the desired effect, whereas the Maybelline one is very wet and only needs a coat or two - although being wet it is a bit harder to work with. For brows I use the Maybelline brow drama sculpting gel in Dark brown and the Seventeen brow pencil. When my eczema isn't too bad and my eyes aren't sore I wear the Rimmel Scandaleyes shadow stick in Trespassing Taupe, luckily my skin is pretty good at the moment so I can wear this more often. 

For lips I tend to change it up fairly often, but these are the ones I've been reaching for the most. This Lipstick from Primark is only £1, a really nice every day nude (review here). These next two are recent finds from Poundland which are perfect together. First off is the Rimmel Vinyl lip gloss in Snog. This over the top of Rimmel 1000 kisses lip liner in Rose quarts is the perfect deep pinky nude for when you want to put in a bit more effort.

First thing to point out, this is a collective haul across a few weeks so these thing may not be still available in your stores. Also I normally just go into Pound World, but I had a gander in Poundland and the 99p store and found a few gems in there so I would definitely recommend shopping around.

1. Rimmel London Vinyl lip gloss in Snog - RRP £4.99 here. This is such a lovely lip gloss and I'm so glad I picked it up! I'm not normally into lipgloss but the colour of this one is like a 'your lips but better', my favourite kind of colour. I wear this for work and it's not at all gloopy or that sticky which is great. They still sell this in Boots and I think they have the same colour/name in their new Oh my gloss range, so it's a great steal for only £1.

2. Rimmel London 1000 Kisses lip liner in Rose Quart - RRP £2.99 here. I was hoping this would be similar to the famous East-end snob. It's similar but not quite the same. I don't have any pink toned lip liners so this was a good pick up. Wearing this under the lip gloss is my favourite at the moment, although I don't think they sell this particular shade any more.

3. Rimmel London Scandal eyes eye liner in Taupe - RRP £3.99 here. Rimmel seems to be quite popular in these hauls...this eye liner is SO SOFT. Although a little bit light for under the eye, it will be great of along the lash line. Again I can't see this shade online but I'm sure there's a similar shade out there.

4. Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 02 - RRP £5.49 here. I was so excited to see this in Pound world! I've always wanted to try one of these lipstick so this was a great find. Although not the kind of colour I would normally go for, I actually really like it and can't wait to wear it during spring/summer! I haven't seen this shade in boots but number 20 looks very similar.

5. Rimmel London Scandal eyes shadow stick in trespassing taupe - RRP £4.49 here. I'm so happy I picked this up! Because of my eczema I don't really wear eye shadow as my eyes are pretty sensitive, but so far this has been pretty good! It's super soft and stays on for ever! It's matte which makes it a great all over the lid colour, this shade isn't available but there are similar shades.

Palmers Shea butter formula minature - RRP £1.50 here. I always have one in my handbag so I thought I would pick one up whilst I was in the 99p store, and I've not seen the Shea butter one as a miniature before.

Garnier BB cream eye roll on in Light - RRP £9.99 here. I couldn't believe I found one of these in the 99p store considering they're normally £10! I bought one for my mum and she couldn't quite believe it either. I've been using this every day and it's really soothing and great for covering up bags under your eyes. They've re-designed the packaging of these which is probably why they were in the 99p store but I'm assuming it's the same formula.

So, some amazing savings in this post! This little lot for only £7 instead of a whopping £33.44! I would definitely recommend looking in at your local pound/99p stores!

First off, I'm really impressed with the sample size! 15ml isn't half bad for a sample, half the size of a normal bottle. These are described a cologne spray rather than 'eau de parfum' or 'eau de toilette' meaning there is a smaller percentage of perfume oil in it, perfect if you're sensitive to fragrances or don't like fragrances that are too over-powering. Another reason a cologne is better for these types of fragrances means you can layer the different scents to create your own personal fragrance, which is something the brand prides itself on. 

Now, back to these specific scents. Baby Power smells just like baby powder. Literally the exact same scent! The same for Thunderstorm, it smells just like the aftermath of a downpour with that distinctive scent. I would say thunderstorm is more of a male scent so I've given this to my Dad, but it does smell great; a crisp, distinctive smell. But I've tried Baby Powder and although a cologne spray, it does linger for a while which is really nice. Personally I'm not overly keen on this scent as something to wear on a day to day basis, but in terms of being true to name and longevity it really is great, it's so true the name it's unreal! My mum loves the scent of baby powder so I've given this one to her, but I really want to try some of their other scents, particularly fresh laundry, passion fruit and red poppies. 

One of the best things about these fragrances is that they're so affordable! Only £15 for 30ml! A right bargain compared to some of the designer brands on the market.

You can find The Library of Fragrance cologne sprays in Boots but they only sell a select few. Boots currently have an offer for 2 for £25 on these sprays which is a great deal so go and check them out here.
