Roll out the Red carpet for Prom*.

Why, hello there...

As you've seen before in other posts, PromTimes* and myself have collaborated to bring you loads of different kinds of dresses, but it's finally got to that time of year where we can start thinking about prom dresses!
If you're still in school, planning for prom is probably starting to begin. Although prom is a few months away, you'll need to start looking at dresses as they can get snapped up pretty quick and you don't want to go to prom in the same dress as anyone else (there were 2 other people with the same dress as mine at my prom).

The awards season has definitely brought its A game this year in terms of all the amazing dresses we've seen on the catwalk, but obviously most of us can't afford these stunning designer dresses. So I thought seen as though PromTimes have now launched their 2015 dresses AND have an amazing sale on with up to 75% off, I would show you some amazing dresses inspired by the Grammy's and Oscars!

Taylor Swifts dress was my favourite from this season. Blue is my favourite colour to wear and this dress is just stunning! I couldn't quite find a dress with a train like Taylors one but this Long sleeveless dress is just as beautiful. I particularly love the detailing around the neck.
Ariana Grande really stood out this year as being more mature in terms of her dress choice. I'm not overly keen on the silver pannel on her dress, but if you want a splash of silver this One shoulder white dress is a real show stopper and has the same slit down the side Like Ariana's dress.

After her appearance in 50 Shades of Grey, we all had our eye on Dakota Johnson to see how she would wow the red carpet. I have to say I'm not that impressed with her dress but she does look great! This One shoulder red dress from Promtimes is super lovely and has some added detail on the strap and comes in nicely at the waist, I actually prefer this dress to Dakota Johnsons...
Anna Kendrick. Love. Her. She looks so stunning with this really simple coral dress and her hair looks so nice! I couldnt find any dress in the same style but this V-neck dress is exactly the same colour and has a bit of extra detailing around the waist which is really pretty!

I've really enjoyed writing this post, hope you enjoyed reading it! Seriously, check out the PromTimes website if you're looking for dresses, even if it's just for inspiration!

What was your favourite outfit from the awards season?

Thanking you,

Naomi

  1. I wore white for prom and still think I would again, I was the only one wearing it which made me stand out but perhaps not necessarily for the better! Either way you only get it once so make the most of it I say xx

    1. I don't think anyone wore white at my prom, I'm sure you looked lovely! Although I loved my dress I wish I went for a maxi dress style rather that a proper prom dress xx
