New Look Black Maxi skirt with side slits, £9 I was in need of something to wear for the last evening of my christian holiday camp I'm leading at. I was looking for a new maxi dress but couldn't find one I liked so I decided to pick this up instead and pair it with a high neck black cami from Primark.

 New Look Black high necked vest top, £3 For only £3 for a high necked top which can be dressed up or down, I thought why not, I think it will go really well with the skirt in this post.

Primark grey and white spotted pyjama shorts, £3 I only wear long, really comfy pyjama bottoms but since it's been getting warmer (she says while it's raining outside...) I would get some shorts. They really are quite short so not sure how I feel about them yet.

Primark 'Sea air, beach hair' T shirt, £2 (sale) They only had a couple of sizes left but I thought I would get a really big size for me (16) to wear as a pyjama top. I love my pyjamas...

New Look brown suedette A line skirt, £12  If you saw my birthday haul you'll have seen a top shop skirt I bought which was also an A line skirt, and I love it. Suedette seems to be the in-thing at the moment, especially for autumn/winter collections so this will be great all year round! 

New look muti-pack rings, £2 each I always pick up some new rings in the sales as they're my favourite piece of jewellery to wear (she says whilst not wearing any...) but I though the colours and designs of these are super pretty for all year round.

Primark pack of 7 ankle socks, £2.50 Just needed some new ones...

Primark exfoliating face brush..thing.., £2 I've seen a lot of people using the S&G exfoliating glove to clean their brushes, but I can't justify spending that much on something just to clean your brushes, and it's so bit you won't use all of it to clean brushes. But I found this little beauty for only £2 and does a great job of getting my make up brushes clean.

First off we have this watch from ASOS. I've been looking for a new watch for ages and every time I found one that I liked it was out of stock, but I finally found this Large face watch from ASOS for only £18 which isn't bad at all! I've had loads of compliments on it already which is really nice.

Next up is this Bag from Fiorelli. Again I've been looking for a new bag for ages and they've all been out of stock. I originally found the brand on ASOS but I got this Tan belted grab bag by Fiorelli from Debenhams and it's perfect, love it lots! I actually ended up paying only £54 for it as I got 20% off ordering online.

Now onto the beauty stuff. We'll go with lip stuff first. The Rimmel lip liner in Eastend snob has become a blogger favourite in recent months and looks like the sort of colour I would like. Then I saw that Collection has bought out a matte range of Lipstick which is right up my street. There wasn't many colours I would choose but I found this one in Taffeta Bloom which is a nice nude'y' colour. Rimmel were having a 2 for £10 offer in Boots and I've had Sultry from the matte balm range on my wishlist for ages so I finally picked it up along with the Liquid quick dry top coat as I'm always struggling with my nails taking ages to dry. Following on from nails I got the NYC Shine in a minute nail polish in Rain Drop. I love the NYC nail polishes. They're so affordable, have an amazing brush and last a long time so definitely go and check them out. 

Onto eyes, which are both actually from Poundworld. I found the Scandaleyes eye shadow paint in Peachy apricot and the single eye shadow in Smokey Quarts. I've heard good things about both of these products, especially the single eye shadow. I'm currently wearing them both together and I'm loving them so far, and they were only £1 each!

For face products I got the Miss Sporty So clear pressed powder in 01 Transparent. I first tried this when I found one in poundworld and loved it so I thought I would buy another one from Superdrug. It says it's 'transparent' but looks quite dark in the pan so we'll see how I get on with it. I also got the Makeup Revolution Focus and fix concealer in light as I'm trying out some budget concealers for a new post and I've actually never had a Makeup Revolution product before!
Finally I got my all time fave face scrub; St Ives invigorating face scrub, you all know I LOVE this.

Finally we come to the fashion. From Primark I got some basic legging which will be for uni for my acting classes and a high neck cami with key hole detail on the front and back with two gold necklaces attached. I really love this cami as I don't have anything else like it and it will be great for going out at uni. Then from matalan I got a pair of denim shorts and this pretty printed peplum top which is great for the summer. I've been loving Matalan recently so I would definitely check them out if I were you!

As you can see, there is no foundation in this post. I stopped wearing foundation as I found with my eczema Foundation looked cakey and clung to my dry patches. So now I use my Garnier roll in light on concealer (from 99p stores) under my eyes and the Natural collection concealer in Fair on the rest of my face, then finish off with the Makeup Gallery pressed powder in shade 2 (Poundland own brand). I'm trying to use this powder up so I can move on to my Rimmel stay matte powder but for only £1 it isn't half bad!

For mascara I go between the Maybelline Lash Sensational or the Cover Girl Volume Exact (from TKMaxx). If I have the time I go for the Cover Girl one as it has a dryer formula and takes a few coats to get the desired effect, whereas the Maybelline one is very wet and only needs a coat or two - although being wet it is a bit harder to work with. For brows I use the Maybelline brow drama sculpting gel in Dark brown and the Seventeen brow pencil. When my eczema isn't too bad and my eyes aren't sore I wear the Rimmel Scandaleyes shadow stick in Trespassing Taupe, luckily my skin is pretty good at the moment so I can wear this more often. 

For lips I tend to change it up fairly often, but these are the ones I've been reaching for the most. This Lipstick from Primark is only £1, a really nice every day nude (review here). These next two are recent finds from Poundland which are perfect together. First off is the Rimmel Vinyl lip gloss in Snog. This over the top of Rimmel 1000 kisses lip liner in Rose quarts is the perfect deep pinky nude for when you want to put in a bit more effort.

First off is the 'Miami Geo' bedding which you can see in the background from Primark. I've seen quite a few bloggers with this bedding and I really like the design of it. It also has a reverse of a white background with grey dots and it goes great in my bedroom, and was only £11 for a double! Next up it this monochrome t-shirt skater dress from Primark. I love this style of dress as it's really comfortable and casual and was only £5.

From H&M I got this white cotton shirt for £14.99 (available here). My favourite top is my blue cotton shirt so I thought I would pick up a white one, although this style is a little different as the buttons only go half way down and has two pockets on the front and will be great for spring/summer.

A few essentials from Primark. I always pick up one of their spaghetti string vests and I wear them quite a lot and  they're only £1.80. I also got some black drawstring shorts for £3. I'm planning on wearing these over my bikini bottoms as there's an indoor swimming pool.

From Poundland I got a new nail polish from the Makeup Gallery range in Mushroom Magic. I also picked up a travel size shaving foam.

From Superdrug I picked up two of the MUA matte lipsticks in Scarlet Siren (here) and Wild berry (here) £1 each to replace my old ones as I love these lipsticks.

Finally from Primark I picked up this elephant bracelet for £2.50. I don't own any nice bracelets any more as I got rid a lot of them and this one is really cute so I thought why not?

I am a sucker for Primarks muti-packs of rings. I couldn't decide between these two so I got them both as I've thrown out a load of my old rings. These cost me £4.50 for 14 rings which isn't bad at all! 

Annoyingly enough I foudn my nail clippers when I got back home after buying these, but £1 for 3 different sized clippers is pretty good, so now I have a back up in case I loose one and these ones look quite pretty. And a bog standard hair brush for £1

I saw this T-Shirt on the manikin in the display and thought it looked really nice. The neck is a little tight for my liking buts it's great for lounging round the house in and it was only £4.

Just a little haul but I'm sure I'll be back in there again soon!

First up is this amazing baggy slouchy black and white cardigan. I love this so much! It's so cosy and comfy for both wearing out and around the  house. It's got really really slouchy sleeves which I really like and pockets on the front which is great. It cost £12 which is pretty good as it feels like great quality and is quite thick.

I was originally going to buy this for a friend but then I started to really like it so I've kept it.. Again very slouchy as I got it in a size bigger than usual and it has the classic rolled up sleeves. And who doesn't love a Harry Potter reference? This was £6.

 This was a great find in the sale at only £3! I didn't think much to Primark's sale this year but I did find this slouchy thin knit striped white and grey jumper. I seem to be really into the slouchy sleeve style at the moment. This will be great for winter for layering and also for spring as it's not too thick.

First up is the standard gift cards. I normally prefer getting these as I can specific colours or sizes of things, particularly Superdrug or The Body Shop vouchers. I really want to get into The Body Shop vitamin E skincare range so that will be on my sales shopping list! Next is Flowers in the air by Kenzo. I received a sample of this ages ago and I was totally in love with it so hopefully this will go in the sales, or I might get it from fragrance direct. A new watch is definitely a must for me this christmas as the one I currently have is starting to fall apart, so I found this men's Sekonda watch from watchshop.com. Yes, I know it's a men's watch, but I couldn't find any in this style in the women's section. Next up is this MUJI acrylic storage. An odd thing to ask for christmas but I really want some of these as my make up collection seems to be growing rapidly. Next is the Clinique Whole lotta chubby. This is the only make up gift set I've seen that I'm actually interested in as they're all colours I would wear. I have been wanting some new straighteners for ages as the ones I have are fairly useless, so these Remington straighteners would do the job great. The Bourjois Rouge edition velvets are something that has been on my wishlist for so long. These are something I would buy with a voucher or pick up whilst in the sales. Lastly We have the Sony in-ear earphones which I have been dying for for ages. I did have a pair of these but lost them so I've been using the old apple ones for ages and I can't stand them, so I would love a new pair of these!

Why, hello there...

Better late than never. I think I've only ever done one or two of these the whole time I've been blogging...

I either forget or it just ends up being the same products every month. But for once I've actually got some new products that I've been loving this past month, so let's get started!

1. Got2b Beach Matt Salt Spray (£2.50 from Savers). This was brilliant for when I went on holiday and when I was at my holiday camp as you don't have a huge time to get ready, or I just couldn't be bothered to style my hair. It makes your hair go nice and curly without going crispy like some other salt sprays. It's normally £4.07 in Boots but I got it for only £2.50 in Savers.

2. P.S Love Lipstick (£1 from Primark). I was really surprised with the quality of this lipstick considering it's from primark and it's only £1. It has no shimmer in it which is perfect for me, it's really creamy and it smels just like Love hearts...bit bizarre but I love it!

3. Vineyard Peach body mist (£7.50 from The Body Shop). I actually got this for only £3.15 as there was an offer for their card members which is a big bonus. It has such a fresh, fruity scent that's not too over-powering and does actually smell just like peach! Love. It.

4. Paint pot in Painterly (£15.50 from Mac). Although the most expensive make up product I have ever bought, it is brilliant. It doesn't crease and makes a great base for eye shadow. Just a shame about the price tag...

5. Tea Tree Cool and creamy wash (£5 from The Body Shop).  I am in love with this stuff. Again not the cheapest of face washes but I will definitely have to repurchase this. It leaves my skin feeling so incredibly fresh, almost tingly (but in a good way) after using it and it really helps with spots. I'll be doing a full review of it soon so look out for that!

6. Coconut Body Oil (£2.54 from Boots). I've been using this on my legs after shaving (TMI?) as I get really itchy because of my eczema. I heard this is great for skin so I gave it a go and it's pretty good! Made my legs look a bit better, and a bit is better than nothing.

7. Aberto Balsam shampoo in Mandarin and Papaya (£1 from Poundland). This is currently in a travel bottle, so we'll ignore that. I can't get enough of the smell, it's so so so good! It's pretty good for only £1 so I don't really have much more to say!

Why, hello there...

A few weeks back I decided to pick up some beauty bits from primark as I've seen so many bloggers give great reviews. I only picked up 2 things and I've been waiting for these things to come to my store for ages! My home store always gets everything last compared to everyone else. Anyway, these are the bits that I got.

P.S Love Lipstick - £1

P.S Love Felt eyeliner pen - £1.50

All the P.S Love range has matte black packaging which is a really nice touch considering how affordable the products are. Both these products have really sturdy packaging and the gold writing has stayed on longer than I though it would, knocking around in my make up bag.

I can officially say this is my new favourite lipstick. I've tried a few cheaper lipstick but this is the best by far. It has no shimmer in it which is perfect for me. The actual formula is really creamy and easy to apply with no streaking. It lasts a few hours so it will need to be topped up during the day, but this isn't really a problem for me. This picture makes it look a bit darker than it is, it's more of a nude shade, like a your-lips-but better colours but with a bit more depth, does that make sense?

Unfortunately I'm not so impressed with this. Although it does apply well it never actually dries. I know, ridiculous. A the end of the day it was all smudged, I'd put some on the back of my hand and after a few hours is was gone. I guess it would be ok for a very thin line above the lashes, but that's about it. It's also a little watery/grey. Compared to my Eyeko one it's much duller and bleeds a little on my skin. I understand for only £1.50 I'm not going to get the best quality, but it doesn't do its job very well at all. Maybe when it dried up a little it will be easier to use, or maybe this one was just a dud.

I will definitely be checking out the other items in the range, I particularly like the look of the eye shadow palettes and I might try their mascara. Although these reviews go from one extreme to another, I think a lot of it is based on personal preference.
