Why, hello there...

So, from the title you can tell what this post is about, my very first giveaway! It's my 18th birthday next week so I thought I'd do a small giveaway, seen as though I've never done one before. Playsuit from F&F Clothing.

JustFab healed sandals.

I really wanted to wear a playsuit as I've never really worn anything like this before and they're really pretty and elegant, but I'm not sure if my thighs will look ok with this for a few reasons so I'm not sure yet. I've ordered it to try it on and if I don't like it I can just take it back. Also I love these sandal style shoes as I can wear them again as they're not incredibly formal/

This was my original idea. If you've seen my last wishlist you'll have seen a similar jumpsuit from New Look but they've sold out of my size so I found this one instead. I can wear this again and dress up or down which is great. These shoes look great as they're simple and the heal isn't too high which is great as I'm already pretty tall, but I'm a bit concerned that because there's no toe support I'll be slipping about in them.

Luckily I ordered these trousers before they were no longer available on the website. They're a bit different for me but I really like the look of them, and I be able to get wear out of them for less formal events. 

So which one do you prefer? I really like the playsuit but I'm not sure if I'll feel comfortable, we'll have to see what it's like when I try it on.

Why hello there...

Long time no see! I won't go into details of where I've been as I did a life post recently which will give you all the details (check it out here).

For my return to blogging post, I'm very excite to be doing a review of some jewellery which was sent to me by the lovely Holly from Lune and Luck! 

The items that were sent to me are the Gold Band midi rings, the Rose Stone ring, and Gold Bar ring. Unfortunately the gold bands and bar rings only come in one size, but this is only a starting out business so I haven't got a problem with that as they can be worn as midi, pinkie or normal rings depending on your size. Also the rose stone ring is adjustable which means it can fit just about any size which is great! 

They're so pretty and elegant with just the right amount of detail! I'm a tiny bit disappointed with the Gold bar ring as it's already going 'coppery' after a few wears and it's meant to be gold plated so I need to put some clear polish over it, but the other rings are totally fine. They're a really affordable price for the quality and design as rings like this could cost a lot more in places like Topshop, and primark rings don't tend to keep their colour for very long at all. 

They are beautifully packaged in this purple gift bag, and to ensure they arrive safely they were wrapped in individual plastic sealed bags. It also includes this little handwritten note which adds a nice personal touch to it. They would make a perfect gift or as an affordable treat for yourself!

Why, hello there...

I haven't done a wishlist in such a long time! They're isn't actually that many things in this wishlist but they're mainly things I've been looking at for a while, so lets get started!

1. JustFab Sandals, £35. I'm currently looking for some shoes for my 6th form leavers dinner but want something I can wear again instead of some fancy shoes that will be put to the back of my wardrobe. I would like to find a jumpsuit (like the one in the collage) so I really want the shoes to be black with a pop of colour or something. So yeah, after that ramble, really like these shoes!

2. MUA Power Pout in Justify, £3. For some reason, I been loving orange, particularly lips even though I don't have any orange lip products..yeah I don't know how that happened either. This one is only £3 so my next trip to superdrug will require hunting this down.

3. New Look Jumpsuit, £22.99. As said before, I'm looking for a black jumpsuit for my 6th form leavers dinner. although I still unsure as to whether I go maxi dress or a short dress, I'll maybe do a post on my outfit choices soon so look out for that!

4. Bourjois Effect 3D Lipgloss in Orange Juteuse, £7.99. Again with the orange lips. I've recently re-discovered my lipgloss collection and I've been loving them for the spring. I've swatched this in-store and the pigmentation was great, so I'll hopefully pick it up soon.

5. L'Oreal Studio line Matte and Messy Salt-spray, £3.75. I've been wanting a salt spray for a while now. I have naturally wavy/curly hair but most of the time I just straighten it so I want something that gives a bit of texture during the summer.

6. JustFab heals, £35. Another pair of shoes for my leavers dinner. These are a bit different for me but I really like them! There is a possibility of going into town after the meal and these would be a bit better for that, I just can't decide!

Looking at it now, my wishlist kind of looks like an outfit plan! Hope you've enjoyed this post!

First of all, you get 200ml which is the same as the L'Oreal micellar solution, but you pay a lot less. The packaging is really sleek, with the plastic being really sturdy with an almost frosted effect, which makes it look more expensive than it is. The dispenser is a very small hole so you have to squeeze the bottle to get the product out, which is great as you get hardly any over-use of the product; you can get the exact amount you want, unlike others.

The actual product is a beautiful deep orange, and product separates as it's oil-based so you need to give it a good shake before you use it. Although it is not branded as a micellar solution, it does effectively the same thing and removes your make-up really well, particularly foundation I find. Because it's an oil based product it does leave a residue on your skin but it's not necessarily a bad thing as the oil moisturises the skin, whereas most micellar solutions have dried my skin out. Leaving it on to soak in leaves your skin feeling really soft and smooth. This means you could use it just as a face oil/serum and it would do just as good a job as the more expensive serums that are on the market. Personally, smell and/or taste are big factors in most products I buy, and this doesn't have a particular smell or taste on the lips unlike some (the B micellar solution at superdrug smells and tastes awful!) which is another great plus to this product.

The only down side to this product is that it isn't the best at removing eye make-up, and I'm not massively keen on the oily feel on my eyelids. Also it doesn't take long for the product to separate again after shaking it, so you often have to shake it between using another cotton pad, but this isn't too much of a problem. 

Overall it is great as an oil/serum for your face and also great at removing foundation/base makeup, but you may need something a little stronger/something more like a micellar solution to remove eye makeup and harsh lipstick. But for only £1 it is a really good product!
