I am incredibly busy with work and other bits over christmas so I will try my best to get all the posts up, but I can't promise anything. I have prepped a number of posts already so I should be ok, but there maybe a couple of posts that I don't manage to get up in time!   I think these are meant to be a dupe for the Nars velvet matte lip pencil, but I've never tried them so I can't really compare them apart from price. These cost a mere £4.99 in comparison to £17.50 from Nars. 

The consistency of this was fairly creamy although a little drying on the lips. I would advise using a lip balm before applying it, it still dries matte it just means your lips feel a bit more hydrated. The colour is super pigmented, but does bleed a tiny bit, a lip pencil would be good to stop this. They have a wide range of colours from nudes to brights and a few with shimmer so there's something there for everybody.

The packaging is fine, I'm a little concerned about the plastic lid spilling or pushing down on the pencil itself, but for the moment it's fine. Also I need to invest in a proper sharpener as it is a proper pencil, which sort of concerns me as I'll end up loosing half the product in the sharpenings. If anyone has any idea on how to stop/save these bits, please let me know!

As you can see from the swatches below, Berry Much is a really deep plummy colour perfect for winter, and it looks great sheered out as well if you not into bold lips.

That's all for this review, overall so far I'm really liking it! It lasts a long time and I love the matte finish and the colour. Hopefully get my hands on some of the other colours soon!

The range is called Make up Gallery, and even though it's only a name I really like it! Makes it sound more sophisticated and elegant. Make up Gallery caters for most of your beauty needs, although I'm not entirely sure if they do felt tip liners and I couldn't see any primers. First things first, can we just appreciate how amazing the packaging is! It is so sleek and professional, keeping to the square packaging where possible (the lipstick packaging is also square) and the monochrome colour scheme. The writing is so pretty as will, with script style font making it look class and more expensive than it is. It's these little details that really make these products stand out to me. They could have gone for a really tacky design as the products are already cheap, but I love that they have made an effort and really thought about their design.

Even the names of the products have been carefully thought about, such as feeling blush, Smoothly does is, Gorgeous flawless and Colour story. It's all in the details! Here are all the products I've picked up:

I haven't fully tested out all of the products but I have swatched them all and tried the lipstick and blusher. First impression isn't too bad. The blusher is a little powdery but with a soft brush isn't too bad and does leave a nice colour on your cheeks. The lipstick isn't too drying but I'm not sure whether I would class it as a matte or satin finish as it does dry like a matte but there is a little bit of a shine to it, but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. From the swatches the eyeshadows are quite pigmented and creamy, the pressed podwer doesn't have much pay off but would probably pick up better with a brush, and the foundation is a little runny but I am yet to try is on my face.

Most of this is a new range of makeup poundland has brought out but there are a few other bits and bobs and some thing from the body shop. 

The Body shop cocoa butter (normally £5) but free as I got a new Love Your Body card as mine expired. I also got the Tea Tree Cool and creamy wash for only £2 as I had a Body Shop gift voucher in my Glamour magazine. This is the third tube I've got through so it's definitely one of my holy grail products! Also in the Glamour magazine you got a free Nails Inc. nail polish, I went for Marylebone Mews which is a purple toned grey, perfect for this time of the year. 

I won't go into too much detail with these products as I will be doing a full post on them, but from the new Poundland makeup range I got a pressed powder, blush, and 2 eye shadows.

(Really bad photo, sorry!) I also got from the range a lipstick, mascara, 2 nail polishes and a foundation.

I was really happy to find this The Kooks cd as well in poundland as I've been um-ing and ah-ing as to whether to buy this album, but I found it for a pound which is great! I also found this acrylic lipstick holder which is great for a pound, as for brands like muji you can be paying up to £25 for acrylic storage.
